No — while the camp is online (Zoom, 11:00 AM–4:30 PM CDT), students are not staring at a screen all day. A typical day includes:
11:00–11:30 AM — Morning rally: team activities and points for a grand prize.
11:30 AM–12:30 PM — Morning block with interactive activities or games to illustrate the lesson.
12:30–1:00 PM — Optional online lunch (Zoom stays open for campers to hang out; attendance during lunch is not required).
1:00–2:00 PM — Hands-on afternoon workshop (brainstorming, creating, writing, or drawing together).
2:00–2:15 PM — Short off-screen break.
2:15–4:15 PM — Age-group project breakouts in Zoom rooms for collaborative or individual project work.
4:15–4:30 PM — Closing rally.
This structured mix of live rallies, interactive lessons, hands-on workshops, breakout collaboration, and scheduled off-screen time ensures campers are actively engaged—not just passively watching a screen.
Every live session is securely recorded and uploaded to your private camper dashboard within 24 hours. Your child can easily catch up on instructions and demonstrations at their own pace.
During purchase caregivers select an age bracket (8-10, 11-13, 14-16, or 17-18). After completing payment they receive a welcome email with login details granting access to the full course (all lessons, assignments, and self-paced quizzes) and automatic membership in the community group for that specific age bracket.
Live lessons and workshops are usually run for all campers together; if attendance is very large we separate by age (as we do for project breakouts). The community group, where campers post work and get feedback, is always restricted to their selected age bracket to ensure safe, age-appropriate interaction.
We prioritize the digital safety of our students above all else. Unlike most camps, we have a strict "Privacy-First" policy. You will never see photos of our campers on our public social media pages; we believe that every child deserves a digital footprint that they control themselves. Instead of public feeds, we provide private, newsletter-based updates directly to parents, ensuring that the magic of your child's creative journey remains yours to cherish, not public content.
